Car, hearse collide on old Hwy. 20 at Highview

One person was injured and two vehicles heavily damaged in this head-on or near head-on crash at Highview Thursday afternoon.

HIGHVIEW — One person was sent to Hamilton Hospital with non life-threatening injuries following a head-one or near head-on collision at the junction of Highway 17 and old Highway 20 at Highview Thursday afternoon.

Debra Lee Brookshire, Fort Dodge, was transported to Hamilton Hospital for treatment. No further information was available on her condition.

The driver of the other vehicle, Patrick Henry Hobart, Rockwell City, was apparently not transported for treatment, but may have sustained lesser injuries.
