Scouting report: Kent State at Ohio State
Here is the scouting report for Ohio State's game with Kent State
* QUARTERBACKS: Kent State junior Julian Edelman was 19-of-22 for 260 yards against Miami of Ohio last week, but two of his incompletions were interceptions. Edelman is a talent. He can run and pass, but he is prone to turnovers. Edelman’s erratic nature is reflected in his numbers. He has thrown six touchdown passes and run for another, but has thrown six interceptions and has completed 50 percent of his passes. The Golden Flashes are minus-7 in turnover ratio. ... Ohio State junior Todd Boeckman also has thrown six interceptions, but three of them came against Purdue. Boeckman, however, has thrown for 14 touchdowns and is completing 64 percent of his passes. EDGE: Ohio State.
* RUNNING BACKS: Kent State sophomore Eugene Jarvis leads the MAC and is fifth in the nation in rushing with 851 yards (6.2 yards per carry) and has scored eight rushing touchdowns.
