Devin William Resh, the son of Dennis and Angie (Luke) Resh, was born July 3, 1990, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa. He attended Clarion-Goldfield school, graduating from Clarion-Goldfield High School in 2009.
Devin loved hanging out with friends, listening to music, singing, playing guitar, bowling, fishing, drawing, writing poems and playing cards.
Devin died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, at the age of 19 years. Devin was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Robert Sheridan, Roxanne and Elmer Hoag; aunt, Stacey Russell and a cousin, Malachi Resh.
Survivors include his parents, Dennis and Angie Resh; brother, Dillon Resh; grandparents: Bill and Judy Luke, David and Joyce Resh; uncles: Brett Luke, David Resh, Jr., Dan Resh, and Doug Resh; aunt, Brenda Konecne; cousins: David Anderson, Sammy and Hanna Resh, Chelsie, Hailey and Baylee Konecne, Brittny Etrem, Jacklyn and Jared Resh, Nick and Cody Russell, Zach Berry and McKayla Resh; great-grandma, Ellen Sheridan.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove with Pastor Chris Lang officiating. Visitation is Monday evening from 5:00 8:00 P.M. at Foust Funeral Home in Goldfield. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Goldfield.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
